Who can relate

the drifter

You drift from one thing to another looking for something else that would be fulfilling. That  "Quick Fix" or "Magic Pill" must be around the next corner, right??

* I actually found this was also part of my adult diagnosed ADHD!

stuck in traditions

Your family was "traditional" in the sense of Mom and/or Dad and siblings but everyone was not so much on showing emotion or appreciation.

You might not have ever heard someone say they were proud of you!

I know for me, the "Catholic Mom Guilt" was also a BIG thing to contend with in our house!

The rebel

You're "Non-traditional" in some aspect like:

  • Don't want kids or have kids later in life;

  • Married later or don't want to get married;

  • Didn't follow in family footsteps when it came to a profession or family business.

breakup
trauma

Maybe you had a traumatic breakup or two along the way that made you question yourself, affected your self-confidence and self-esteem all in one shot!

(Realization: It really WASN'T about me, it really was him!)

the burnout

You feel overwhelmed, underappreciated but also large amounts of guilt in being on the receiving end because you are only used to giving!

You could be a "Giver" by trait or type of work you do (medical profession, teacher, etc.)

I have been one or all of these people at some point in my life!

I heard a song the other day that really resonated as a lyric was "I'm still afraid of the dark...still looking for monsters under the bed" and it rang so true!

Big difference now is those Monsters under the bed moved to live in our HEADS!

It's time for an eviction notice!
